Director John Macalyk, also a founding member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), was honoured as a Life Member at the National Excellence Awards just over a week ago.
Since 1980, John has been actively involved in the mortgage and finance broking industry, with a focus on commercial property. He has mentored, coached, and inspired countless brokers over the years.
John’s involvement in various committees and forums within the MFAA has contributed to the organisation’s activities and advocacy efforts. He emphasises the importance of staying motivated and continuously learning, highlighting the value of attending MFAA conferences to be across the most up-to-date industry insights.
In the face of unexpected challenges, John praised the MFAA for supporting its members. His mantra is to always have something to look forward to, emphasising the significance of work-life balance, family, and taking care of yourself.
